Hi all. I know I haven't written in a while; life has been crazy busy. I will finish my story, have no doubt, but there is something that I would like to invite as many people as possible to.
My church, Calvary Baptist Church of Huntington Beach, is hosting a fundraiser this Sunday, 3/13/11, at 6 pm for our youth team that is heading to Asia this summer to minister and encourage missionaries there. We are only halfway to the funds needed to get the group of fifteen to Asia, and the fundraiser is a huge part to that. If anyone is in the Orange County/ South LA area and wishes to help, it will be a silent auction and talent show. A lot of great things will be auctioned, including baseball tickets, weekends in Big Bear, and restaurant gift certificates. If anyone wishes to donate, you can send it to Calvary Baptist Church, attention Asia team, 8281 Garfield Ave., Huntington Beach, CA 92646. That is also where the fundraiser will be.
I am a leader for the youth group and am also going to Asia this summer, so please pray for us that this trip will go safely and be an experience we will all remember and be glorifying to God. Thank you all, and God Bless.
